BIG Urges Congress to Secure GOM Oil and Gas Production

In a letter to members of Louisiana’s Congressional Delegation, Bayou Industrial Group joined the Gulf Economic Survival Team in calling for Congress to pass legislation that will secure access to the Gulf of Mexico for future oil and gas leasing and production.

$135 Million Grant Awarded for LA 1 Project

The Louisiana DOTD has received a $135 million federal INFRA grant to build an 8.3-mile elevated highway between Leeville and Golden Meadow in Lafourche Parish. Construction of this critical segment of the LA 1 Improvement Project is expected to go to bid in spring 2021. READ MORE HERE.

Bayou Industrial Group has long championed the importance of LA 1 to our national energy and economic security and BIG submitted a letter in support of the State’s INFRA Grant application in February.
