BIG thanks to Greater Lafourche Port Commission Executive Director Chett Chiasson, Board of Commissioners and staff for a wonderful tour of Port Fourchon on October 30 and to GIS for providing lunch.  We had another great BIG Business Tour with 50 members and guests in attendance. We had a tremendous response to our first “GiveBIG” project at the October luncheon.  Your generous donations of supplies to The Haven are greatly appreciated!

Dr. Craig McClain, Executive Director of the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium (LUMCON), located in Cocodrie,  is guest speaker for the BIG Luncheon on Monday, November 18, 2019.

The luncheon will also feature Media Furrate as the BIG Member of the Month for November

As part of our new community outreach effort, “GiveBIG!”, Bayou Industrial Group will be collecting supplies for the The Haven at our October 21 luncheon.  This local shelter for battered women and their children is in need of household items and clothing, and we know our generous BIG members want to help!

Dr. Greg Upton with the LSU Center for Energy Studies will be our guest speaker for the BIG Luncheon on Monday, October 21.  Dr. Upton will present the “Gulf Coast Energy Outlook.”

The luncheon will also feature Phylway Construction as the BIG Member of the Month for October.
